CentsNote Terms of Service Effective date: May 12, 2026 1. Agreement By using CentsNote, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. 2. What CentsNote does CentsNote helps individuals record personal expenses, income, transfers, recurring bills, budgets, and reports. It is a recordkeeping tool, not a bank, broker, accountant, tax advisor, or financial advisor. 3. No financial, tax, or legal advice Information shown in CentsNote is based on records you enter and app-generated summaries. It is provided for personal organization only and should not be treated as financial, tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice. 4. Your responsibility for records You are responsible for the accuracy of records, categories, budgets, and account balances you create or confirm. AI-assisted parsing and voice input may be wrong, so you should review drafts before saving them. 5. Local data, backup, and device risk CentsNote is designed to support local-first use. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and deciding whether to use backup or sync features. If you delete the app, reset your device, lose access to your device, or disable backup, local data may be lost. 6. Acceptable use Do not use CentsNote to break the law, abuse services, interfere with the app or website, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, bypass security controls except where allowed by law, or submit harmful, infringing, or unlawful material through support or future online services. 7. Subscriptions and purchases If CentsNote offers paid features, purchase terms will be shown before payment. App Store purchases, refunds, cancellations, and renewals are generally handled by Apple under Apple's terms. Deleting CentsNote data does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. 8. Availability and changes CentsNote may change, pause, or remove features over time. We try to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, OS version, region, or third-party service. 9. Intellectual property The CentsNote app, website, brand, visual assets, and software are owned by the developer or licensed to the developer. You keep ownership of the records you create, subject to the technical limits of local storage and any services you choose to use. 10. Disclaimer CentsNote is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law. We disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 11. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent allowed by law, CentsNote and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or financial decisions made using the app. 12. Zulässige Nutzung Verwenden Sie CentsNote nicht, um gegen Gesetze zu verstoßen, Dienste zu missbrauchen, die App oder Website zu stören, Reverse Engineering zu betreiben, Daten zu scrapen, Systeme zu überlasten, Sicherheitskontrollen zu umgehen, außer soweit gesetzlich erlaubt, oder schädliches, rechtsverletzendes oder rechtswidriges Material über Support oder künftige Online-Dienste einzureichen. 7. Abonnements und Käufe Wenn CentsNote kostenpflichtige Funktionen anbietet, werden die Kaufbedingungen vor der Zahlung angezeigt. App-Store-Käufe, Rückerstattungen, Kündigungen und Verlängerungen werden in der Regel von Apple gemäß den Apple-Bedingungen abgewickelt.
